This is also great news for the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales regions, with the deal bringing 70 additional flights each week to 11 destinations and contributing more than $100 million to the local economy.
Gold Coast Airport will service 8 new routes to Albury, Bundaberg, Gladstone, Mackay, Mildura, Whitsunday Coast, Rockhampton and Townsville, as well as additional services to Gold Coast Airport’s existing Cairns, Avalon and Melbourne routes. Bishopp now owns advertising assets in 10 of the airports Bonza services: Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Whitsunday Coast, Mackay, Cairns, Coffs Harbour, Rockhampton, Mackay and Gladstone airports.
