Hobart Airport has announced applications for its 2025/2026 Community Grants program are now open, with this year’s program offering financial grants and additional support with advertising and promotion.
Hobart Airport CEO, Norris Carter said there are up to $40,000 of financial grants available for local projects that help Tasmanians connect.
“Hobart Airport is inviting local charities and not-for-profits to apply for grants that help make a difference to Tasmania’s social, economic and environmental wellbeing,” Mr Carter said.
“In addition, up to $25,000 in advertising support across digital and static sites at the airport have been offered by advertising partner Bishopp Outdoor Advertising , while the airport will make floor space within the terminal available for promotion and activation”
Mr Carter said the program means not only will organisations be able to get financial support for their good works, but they will be able to advertise and promote their works to thousands of people who pass through the airport every day.
Bishopp Commercial Director, Nick NcAlpine, said “local organisations do the hard work; our role is to help them be seen. We’re proud to support Hobart Airport’s Community Grants program with advertising that gives Tasmanian charities and not-for profits a bigger platform, so more people discover, support and celebrate their success.”
“There are grants of up to $5,000 available and one larger grant of $15,000 available for a charity that is making a big difference in helping our community connect,” Mr Carter said.
Previous grant recipients include Rotary Club of Sullivans Cove for their Learner’s Driving Program, Clifton Beach Surf Life Saving Club, Coal River Valley Tasmania Tourism Association, The Shepherd Centre for Deaf Children, Southern Beaches Landcare, Be Hers and Dark Sky Tasmania.
Grant applications close on the 31st of October, with successful recipients advised in January 2026.
