Bishopp’s newest addition to their ever-increasing catalogue of billboards is a state-of-the-art LED billboard located at the corner of Bourbong and Maryborough Streets, in Bundaberg. The success of the Toowoomba digital billboard paves the way for a very positive addition to the assets available throughout southern Queensland. The billboard was launched yesterday by Bundaberg Mayor Jack Dempsey and Bishopp Outdoor Advertising Special Projects Manager, Nick McAlpine.

Cr Dempsey commented that digital technology offered important support for the community with the ability to support local advertising, promote local events and provide information to the general public.

“We need to see digital advertising as an opportunity for the region,” Cr Dempsey said. “In the event of emergency or natural disaster, the billboard can be used to communicate with residents and help to ensure everyone is well informed. We’re really pleased that Bishopp has chosen Bundaberg to invest and that the whole community can share in the benefits.

The launch was covered by the local Newspaper News-Mail and the full story can be read here.
