Kingaroy is the hub of Queensland’s South Burnett Region. It is about 2½ hours drive north-west of the state capital Brisbane. The town is situated on the junction of the D’Aguilar and the Bunya Highways and known for producing quality beef, navy beans, and most importantly, peanuts.
Proximity to the beautiful Bunya Mountains and an emerging wine growing region have recently increased tourism interest in the region. With a population of nearly 10,000, Kingaroy provides services to consumers from the nearby towns of Nanango, Murgon, and Yarraman.
