It’s no secret that eye-catching visuals are key to great outdoor advertising. Bishopp, in partnership with Rumble’s creative team in Brisbane, decided to lead by example and show how engaging, entertaining and talked-about out of home large format product can be, by employing an irreverent saying perfect for this occasion and channel. The idea revolves around the iconic Australian saying:
“Made you look, you dirty chook”.
It’s a playful Australian statement typically said after tricking someone into looking at something. In this campaign, we’ve used the term ‘dirty’ in a humorous way to describe types of characters who are seen as unsavoury in society.
Our idea is to create striking images for billboards which you can’t help but look at, and flow this concept through to the on-line presence.
