Eye-catching visuals are key to great outdoor advertising. Bishopp, in partnership with the ‘Ready To Rumble’ creative team in Brisbane, decided to lead by example and show how engaging, entertaining and talked-about out of home large format product can be, by leveraging an irreverent saying perfect for this occasion and channel. The idea revolves around the iconic Australian saying:
“Made you look, you dirty chook”
It’s a playful statement typically said after tricking someone into looking at something. In this instance, we’ve used the term ‘dirty’ to describe types of characters who are seen as unsavoury in society.
Our idea is to create striking images for billboards which you can’t help but look at, and flow this concept through to the on-line presence.
